    Launched in 1980 by Shawn Stussy and well-recognised for their Laguna Beach boardwalk roots, Stussy’s iconic graphic design style quickly grew in popularity thanks to the labels uptake by California’s rapidly evolving surfing, skateboarding and hip-hop communities. Self-described as being a label with a ‘prep meets punk meets b-boy’ aesthetic, Stussy’s unfiltered design style draws influence from OG graffiti handstyles, vintage sampling images and from their own International Stussy Tribe (IST) heritage that grew in popularity through the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.

    Spreading the International Stussy Tribe message through graphic tees, varsity jackets and caps, Stussy clothing continues to be inspired by an appreciation for the brand’s ties to both West Coast and evolutionary music culture. Mixing a rebellious attitude with mind expanding prints and distinctive patterns, Stussy’s on-going success is one continually celebrated, with collaborations with brands including Nike, Converse, Vans, by Parra and Carhartt WIP supported by the brand’s own collection of skateboarding edits such as ‘Tribe’ and ‘How Original’ featuring skaters such as Lance Mountain, Jesse Alba and Diego Todd.
