Brixton: One Item Three Ways
This summer sees California based Brixton, who are known for their premium headwear styles and accompanying apparel, look to the rich colours and exotic prints of Morocco in addition to nostalgic 60’s beach culture to create a fresh selection of goods that exude vintage charm. Crafted with a vision of being worn for life, only the best fabrics and finishes run throughout with custom detailing and expressive print designs that capture Brixton’s signature character, whilst also bringing a fresh look that revitalises a selection of the brand’s best loved pieces. As immediate summer go-tos, fabrics are lightweight yet hard wearing which enhances different cuts selected with movement and comfort in mind. The introduction of the Brixton Crossover collection sees classic styling blended with modern utility and promotes sustainable materials such as REPREVE® created from a combination of recycled and natural fibres in reflection of the brands own movement into more eco-conscious production.
Continuing to portray the Brixton way of life, which encourages individual style, adventure, and collaboration we’ve chosen three key pieces from the new SU20 collection and presented them with a selection of mix and match ensembles from like-minded brands that suggest the best investment pieces for the season and how you can get the most out of them.

Founded in 2004 by three friends, the initial idea for Brixton was fuelled by a collective love for one fo the founder’s grandfather's treasures and the punk scene in San Diego during the ‘90s. Named after a song from British punk band The Clash, taken from the iconic 1979 London Calling album, Brixton was launched with a line of vintage headwear styles created with a focus on capturing timeless appeal. Driven by their desire to create clean, yet stylish and characteristic pieces, natural progression led the team into designing ranges of apparel which incorporated influences from their local Californian surf and skate scenes. As the brands popularity has increased, the same eye for quality, detail and punk inspired design has remained in place alongside the introduction of projects such as the ‘Done Proper’ campaign which celebrates individual style, creativity and personalities and ‘Threads’ which was introduced in 2019 through a video series featuring stories from brand ambassadors such as Kenny Anderson, Donta Hill, Nuria Val and Benjamin Booker. Perfectly captured by their own ethos of ‘style inspired by the past, built to live in the present.’, we look to Brixton each season to supply us with an array of premium everyday designs that stand the test of time with their own modern punk charm in an ever-changing world.
