Dans La Puig Samba

Coinciding with the launch of the adidas Lucas Puig Samba, we were excited to organise for skateboard legend Lucas Puig to join Flatspot's Dan Fisher-Eustance in the city of Biarritz for four days of skating, swimming and a game or two of boules. Documented through the lenses of Al Hodgson and photographer Clement De Galle, with a cameo from adidas' Vincent Milou.

Drawing inspiration from Puig’s ‘adidas Skateboarding Presents’ part from 2020, Dan asked Lucas to show him around a number of the same skate spots featured in the release including the beachfront stairs and the DIY bunker quarter-pipe where Puig's original 5-0 fakie is mirrored by Dan's front side pivot fakie. Additional highlights included time spent skating the iconic bowl at the Cité de l'Océan museum and the city's vibrant square.

A hybrid between Puig’s original signature and the iconic adidas Samba, the adidas Puig Samba is now available in both white & black colourways at Flatspot. Originally a limited edition with Palace Skateboards, the Puig Samba features the OG T-toe of a Samba and gold foil branding, whilst signature Lucas Puig details include his custom printed insoles, tread pattern, sculpted tongue and a stacked, V-shaped heel.
