An atmospheric themed follow up on 2005’s Nike SB Dunk High Pro, the latest addition to the ever growing Nike roster features a stormy Nike SB Dunk Low that retains all the same characteristics as its 16 year old sibling. Pitch black suede and dark trims welcome a tempestuous undertone to the classic courtside silhouette, whilst its performative nature remains true to the brand’s ode to skate-centric function.

Originally designed by Nike’s second Product Line Manager Chris Reed in 2005 and famed for its aptly titled foggy grey accents and its mist-like aesthetic, the Nike SB Dunk High Pro has remained a pillar of influence since its OG hardwood inception back in ‘85. Styled with similarity to the J-Pack exclusive Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Shadow’ from last year, both the ‘05 Dunk High Pro and the 2021 Dunk Low Pro ‘Fog’ are designed to capture the allure of uncertain climates and all-season suitability through their stormfront aesthetic and after-dark tones. This wouldn’t be the first time that Beavertown’s Nike SB has turned to ideational weather front aesthetics for inspiration though, with the heat reactive Nike SB x Civilist Dunk Low Pro QS from 2020 channeling thermographic reference, whilst team rider Kevin Bradley’s ‘Kevin & Hell’ Pack Nike SB Orange Label Blazer AC XT featured cloud-like intricacies styled in honour of the Orange Label release’s ethereal inspiration.
Styled with the same pitch-black fuzzy suede composure as its 2005 sibling, the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro is a stealthy and streamlined silhouette designed to deliver in all-terrain, all-season function. Switching out the rich burgundy trims of its high top predecessor to focus predominantly on tonal shades of black throughout, this low collared sneaker features a statement two tone gum rubber cupsole, woven toe box perforations and a classic cupsole tread that continues to honour the legacy of the profile’s court-to-concrete redesign. A Nike SB performative Zoom Air unit provides elevated cushioning and impact absorption, whilst the recessed 7 eyelet lacing system keeps the canvas mesh ‘Nike SB Dunk Low Pro’ tongue securely fastened across the natural arch of the foot. Slightly lighter grey Swooshes than the Dunk High Pro are displayed, crafted from premium leather for additional textured depth, whilst the iconic ‘Nike’ rear ankle tab branding is styled in a smoky silver stitching to honour its fog namesake and its atmospherically unsettled colourway.

The draw opens on Tuesday 14th December 2021 at 12:00PM (GMT) and closes on Thursday 16th December 2021 at 12:00PM (GMT). You can enter the draw here.

Winners will be chosen on Friday 17th December 2021 at 08:00AM (GMT) and we will aim to confirm both successful and unsuccessful entries within three hours. Winning pairs will start shipping Monday 20th December 2021.
For each release we will invite those interested to enter a draw to purchase prior to the products actual designated time of release. Card payment will be required to register for each draw and your payment will be authorised but the funds not taken by us unless your name is successfully drawn at the designated time and date of the actual release.
If you are unsuccessful in the draw the pre-authorisation will be voided and your funds released, it may take up to five working days before you see your funds available in your account again.
