Honouring horror movie ideals with its clever storytelling and its intricate level of detail, the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Premium ‘Mummy’ arrives as yet another ideational addition to the brand’s ever-expanding Dunk roster for 2021. Inspired by 2019’s jack-o-lantern themed ‘Night of Mischief’ Dunk Low, and by other October 31st dedicated designs such as the Nike Air Max 97 ‘Halloween Slime’ and the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Skeleton’ series, this tactile Nike SB Dunk pairs playful origination with performativity to remain loyal to its OG courtside roots. Merging fictional references to undead monsters, zombies and the afterlife with odes to Egyptian mythology, these glow-in-the-dark sneakers are designed to keep people talking even when the lights are out.
Straying away from the usual orange and black Halloween aesthetics as seen across the Air Jordan ‘Shattered Backboard’ series, the Nike SB ‘Mummy’ Dunk Low is styled with tear-away canvas uppers for a mummified look designed to be untangled and torn. Overstitched details and frayed edges pay tribute to the gauze mummies are shrouded in, whilst the bluish turquoise revealed underlays host a ghostly shade that honours the design’s undead undertone and the matching soft suede sidewall Swooshes. An integrated Zoom Air unit delivers cushioned comfort across the sockliner, whilst the tinted translucent rubber outsole features a full length cupsole stitch for further structural support. Glowing in the dark, the circular tread outsole is mirrored by a glowing embroidered spider across the toe box of the left shoe, whilst both pairs feature sewn mummy eye decals across each heel that are also styled to illuminate after dark. Interchangeable puffy laces help secure the drip-down ‘Nike SB Dunk Low Pro’ embroidered tongue across the natural arch of the foot, whilst each underside of the tongue features an eye of Horus flag label for further Egyptological reference. Signed off with custom photo-illustrative insoles that pay homage to tree ‘tp-ing’ traditions which sees reams of toilet roll strewn across lawns, houses and other objects across the night of October 31st.

The draw opens on Tuesday 9th November 2021 at 17:00PM (GMT) and closes on Wednesday 10th November 2021 at 08:00AM (GMT). You can enter the draw here.

Winners will be chosen on Wednesday 10th November 2021 at 12:00PM (GMT) and we will aim to confirm both successful and unsuccessful entries within three hours. Winning pairs will start shipping Thursday 11th November 2021.
For each release we will invite those interested to enter a draw to purchase prior to the products actual designated time of release. Card payment will be required to register for each draw and your payment will be authorised but the funds not taken by us unless your name is successfully drawn at the designated time and date of the actual release.
If you are unsuccessful in the draw the pre-authorisation will be voided and your funds released, it may take up to five working days before you see your funds available in your account again.
