Nike SB x KCDC Dunk High Pro
Celebrating 20 years of the Brooklyn based skate shop, the Nike SB x KCDC Dunk High Pro is a pastel pink coloured silhouette inspired by the iconic colouring of the 80 N 3RD Street shop front. Styled with commemorative flag labels and with custom designed illustrative insoles, the KCDC Dunk High Pro arrives as a follow on from previous Nike SB skate shop collaborations including those with the likes of Athens’ Color, Dubai’s Frame and Baltimore based Carpet Company.

Founded in 2001 by female skate shop pioneer Amy Ellington, wife of former Baker Skateboards and Deathwish skater Erik Ellington, KCDC’s ‘unity makes strength’ motto remains an undoubted reflection of the shop’s role in becoming one of the most loved cross-cultural skate hubs within Brooklyn and NYC. Community driven and led by a goal of championing the mental health benefits of skate, KCDC’s diverse and supportive nature is one that’s reflected by the shop’s dual purpose narrative. Acting as a safe space for locals and skaters to explore their whole selves, KCDC hosts a welcoming and creative environment home to drop-in skate, art and painting sessions that allow individuals to pursue their true interests outside of skateboarding. Events include yoga classes, in-store discussions, pop-up art shows and evenings hosted by skate, street and art culture luminaries such as Ed Templeton, Jeremy Fish, Geoff Rowley and brands including Antihero, Spitfire and Polar Skate Co.
Styled with pastel pink nubuck uppers with light pink suede overlays, the Nike SB x KCDC Dunk High Pro arrives in a colourway that’s instantly recognizable if you’ve ever visited the store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Bold black accents appear across the two tone rubber outsole and across the black leather Swooshes, whilst a classic circular underfoot tread remains loyal to the Dunk’s original courtside lineage. A perforated toe box provides increased ventilation and circulation, whilst a recessed six eyelet lacing system is complemented by two brass coloured upper eyelets to help keep the flat style laces secure across the pink padded tongue. An integrated Zoom Air unit supplies increased cushioning to match the foam sockliners, whilst padding around the black-lined collar is mirrored by tonal ‘Nike SB KCDC 2001’ tongue tabs that honour the design’s anniversary release. Finished with KCDC’s iconic logo woven across each heel pull, with mix match pink and green insoles decorated with custom illustration and hand written ‘Nike SB’ and ‘KCDC’ branding.

Due to the limited numbers of the Nike SB x KCDC Dunk High Pro we are making the shoes available via our Releases.flatspot site on a Raffle to purchase basis.
The draw opens on Wednesday 27th April at 17:00PM (BST) and closes on Thursday 28th April 2022 at 12:00PM (BST). You can enter the draw here.
Limited to one pair per person. Available to UK residents only.
Winners will be chosen on Friday 29th April 2022 at 08:00AM (BST) and we will aim to confirm both successful and unsuccessful entries within three hours. Winning pairs will start shipping Friday 29th April 2022.
For each release we will invite those interested to enter a draw to purchase prior to the products actual designated time of release. Card payment will be required to register for each draw and your payment will be authorised but the funds not taken by us unless your name is successfully drawn at the designated time and date of the actual release.
If you are unsuccessful in the draw the pre-authorisation will be voided and your funds released, it may take up to five working days before you see your funds available in your account again.
