    passion for throwback music culture, ‘80s and ‘90s skate nostalgia and an appreciation for contemporary fashion. Launched by school friends and creatives Garth Mariano and Matt Evans in 2008, Butter Goods is located on the West Coast with a signature aesthetic enriched with many direct prints and signature embroideries.

    Sibling also to Humidity Skate Shop owner Philly Santosuosso’s Cash Only, Butter Goods holds a strong graphic design aesthetic and artistic undertone that places the brand at an interesting cross-section. Representing an eclectic mix of counter-culture inspirations sourced not only from a love of skateboarding, but from underground and street style also, many of the brand’s impactful graphics and personified illustrations pay homage to their creative nature and to their ‘locally known, internationally connected’ tagline. Butter Goods’ skate team continues to grow and is home to the likes of Morgan Campbell, Casey Foley, Ben Gore and Alex Schmidt, whilst continued collaborations include those with the likes of HUF, Kangol, NYC’s Labor Skate Shop and DC Shoes.
