    An independent skate brand deeply embedded in European and Parisian skate culture, Magenta was founded in 2010 by creative director Soy Panday and brothers Vivien and Jean Feil. Born after realising they didn’t like the way skateboarding was heading with a focus on carving out their own path in the industry, the brand continues to draw inspiration from a passion for their European origins, skate, streetwear, art and design culture, whilst their deep love for old-school VX edits and nostalgic skate parts continues to evolve. Splitting their time between both Paris and Bordeaux with a namesake that stems from a district in the capital that all three shared when growing up, Magenta’s ‘worldwide connections’ tagline is one centred around celebrating community culture and the nature of inclusivity. Sponsor of skaters including Leo Vallis, Jimmy Lannon, Zach Lyons and Ben Gore, Magenta’s expanding remit also includes work alongside the likes of adidas, Vans, FTC and artist-come-skater Mark Gonzales. Magenta skate videos continue to replicate the brand’s expressive design style, with influential releases including Balade, Mare Nostrum, Bay Branch and their recent Just Cruise 2 filmed by Andrea Dupre and Stephane ‘Feugs’ Feugas.
