    the Nike SB Dunk merges courtside tradition with creative skate innovation. Reengineering the same basketball technology in favour of skateboarding necessity, SB Dunks, both High and Low, always include Zoom Air inserts, perforated toe boxes and the OG circular tread borrowed from its basketball origins.

    Sponsor of skaters including Grant Taylor, Ishod Wair, Leo Baker and Elissa Steamer, the Nike SB Dunk has also served as a creative canvas for many signature colourways including Yuto Horigome’s Dunk Low Pro, Oski’s White Shark Dunks and the late Sandy Bodecker’s 2003 eBay inspired Dunk Low OG. A core feature of Nike SB’s on-going #supportyourlocalskateshop Orange Label project, the SB Dunk has also received many college colour inspired re-writes including its sought after Black, White & Gum and White, Black & Gum releases. Collaborations with independent skate shops and streetwear labels such as Fly Streetwear, Crushed DC, froSkate and Brooklyn based KCDC have offered many co-designed SB Dunk silhouettes, with some of the most notable releases including Jeff Staple’s Panda Pigeon, Concept’s Purple Lobster Dunk Low Pro OG and Nicky Diamonds’ Dunk Low from 2005.
