The Adidas Sabalo Shoes have arrived in a fresh new colourway for SS19, with raw white dominating the suede upper while canvas surrounds the heel. Contrast glow blue detailing features on the embroidered trefoil on the lateral panel and small woven label on the tongue, while a more subtle tone of real blue runs across the top of the mudguard. Finally the midsole has been finished in a muted grey, harmonising the myriad of colours perfectly.
Being the newest adidas silhouette, the Sabalo offers the most updated functional detailing. The brand’s signature Geoflex tread design offers multidirectional traction, without impacting on boardfeel, for a smoother and more consistent ride. Additionally a cushioned sockliner offers impact protection both on and off the board, while a traditional laced fixture offers a comfortable custom fit.
The Sabalo’s silhouette has been inspired by a fisheye lens, a staple in skate videography. This unique design aesthetic combined with adidas’ heritage working in sportswear truly embodies the skateboarding project’s ethos.
