Gramicci Shell Gear Shorts in Tan and Sax. An evolution of the classic ST-short design and styled with a patchwork twist, these chlorine-safe durable nylon Gramicci shorts arrive as part of the brand’s latest instalment for SS21. Tailored to a classic fitting for comfortable looseness that’s wearable both on land and in the water, these above-knee shorts feature an elasticated waistband, a 9” inseam, an integrated nylon-cinch webbed belt and traditional gusseted crotch that allows for 180-degree splits. Tonal bartack stitchings complement the two-tone design, whilst the washed-blue front-facing pockets feature water pass-through internal pockets for added in-water function. A handy D-ring attachment can be found on the right front-pocket.
Established in 1983 by keen mountaineer Mike Graham, Gramicci’s iconic cut-and-sew climbing-gear aesthetic has since found itself common place in the modern-day streetwear market. With a little help from its recent Japanese offshoot revival, Gramicci’s admiration for straight-forward performative design has continued to capture the attention of many like-minded individuals across the globe.
