Continuing the Tiffany theme from the mid 2000’s, the Nike SB Air Max Janoski 2 shoes take a modern silhouette and give it a twist with an old-school colour palette. The body has uses a patterned textile upper in black, which not only looks stylish but also provides breathability through perforations that feature throughout. The lateral panels feature an embroidered Nike swoosh in sharply contrasting mint, complemented by a similarly coloured insole. Final detailing on the upper includes piping across the seams and a woven label on the tongue, resting in front of the low-cut ankle which is iconic to the Janoski silhouette. The midsole is finished in a crisp white, complementing the upper and laces.
Although the original Janoski reigned for 10 years, this iteration has been updated to bring it to the forefront of technical design. A Max Air unit has been added under the heel, providing cushioning in every step as well as impact protection while skating. Below this the rubber outsole has been made flatter to provide not only grip but a superior level of boardfeel too, while the full-length IP foam midsole provides additional cushioning as well as comfort.
