Nike SB Shane Shoes

Designed as Australian Nike SB pro rider Shane O’Neill’s first signature shoe, these appropriately named Shane Shoes have a super clean look with a unique lacing system and a custom graphic that incorporates the skaters initials. A remastered design that has been built to perform, black suede flows across the single panel toe vamp and stops below the tongue where perforated holes have been added for ventilation. On either side of the foot an overlay suede section curves around the side of the shoe and has outlined Swoosh ticks printed in white for signature branding. Differing slightly from a conventional lacing system, you have the option to choose between a traditional fastening or using durable ghillie loops to achieve a secure fit with colour matched laces. The tongue is made from durable textile and a suede label curves around the top edge with a custom graphic showing Shane’s initials incorporated within an earthy sun-inspired logo, also in white with ‘Shane’ lettering underneath. Within the shoe a soft fabric lining has been added and a Zoom Air unit sits within the heel for responsive cushioning. On the white outsole an extended rubber toe bumper adds durability to this high-wear area and slightly higher taping between the midsole and uppers supports a more consistent flick.

Inspired by his own favourite skate shoes that he’s been putting to the test since he started skateboarding aged 10, pro rider Shane O’Neill set out to create a great skate and everyday shoe for his first signature design. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Shane made the move to the USA to further his career which has led him to international skate trips and a notable performance in the 2013 Street League competition where he made history with a tied highest score ever at 9.9.
