Patagonia Baggies Lights Shorts in Bayou Blue. Returning in their iconic colourway, these slim-fitting Patagonia shorts are crafted from lightweight recycled polyester ripstop with a DWR finish and a supportive mesh liner. Suitable for wear in and out of the water, the waistband is elasticated with an internal drawcord that lets you customise the fit to suit. On either side of the waist vertical pockets reduce drag in the water and offer space to carry essentials with drain and dry mesh corners. The inseam measures to 6½” which allows for comfort and movement during a range of activities and on the left side of the front close to the hem, a rectangular woven P-6 label shows signature Patagonia branding. When not in use these shorts can be packed away into the right pocket which also has a key loop.
An essential style for the warmer months, the Baggies Lights Shorts have become a core style within Patagonia’s library and are continually refreshed each season in selection of colour tones and prints. This design looks to the Mississippi River Basin for inspiration whilst also aiming to raise awareness for the current threats to nature in the area which include high levels of chemical pollution.
