Carhartt WIP Detroit Jackets
The Detroit Jacket was introduced in 1954 as Carhartt’s ‘Zipper Jacket’, with its shorter cut designed to work with a tool belt. It became known as the Detroit Jacket in 1998, and the shape has stayed familiar ever since. Canvas and denim versions sit alongside contrasting and corduroy collars, while a zipped chest pocket keeps the design simple. Blanket-lined and quilted options add extra warmth when it’s cold out. It’s a workwear classic that’s just as easy to wear every day.
