    Founded circa 2000, Newquay, Cornwall based Revolver Sportswear encourage a blend of traditional British surfwear silhouettes with Japanese craftsmanship.

    Their Miyazaki based factory owns one of two traditional loopwheel knitting machines, which offer a traditional handmade finish that surpasses automated manufacturing procedures. The machine lays cotton down in a tub, using a slow revolution rate which creates a t-shirt with no tension and with no side seams. This slow process produces one t-shirt every hour-and-a-half.

    Revolver Sportswear product consciously made products with the Haleiwa, Hanalei and Pua’ena silhouette built using Ochiwata, which is a byproduct from combing cotton, the fabric gives the t-shirts a signature fluffy texture and uneven surface which makes every garment unique. Additional sustainable details include recycled polyester neck labels, with wool, sourced from a rare Devon sheep herd, used to hang the product tags.
